Hey guys! I just created a new logo for the series based on some of the content in the Pilot Episode (and of course the title itself). After thinking about the fight with Azazel scene, I thought the floating tree would make for a great logo. I did a quick Google Search for “floating tree” just to see what was already out there, and I found lots of depictions such as these:
The one circled above was created by a Russian artist named Vlad Gerasimov. That particular graphic really stood out to me and thus it became the source of inspiration for what would become the official SEED logo. Of course, I didn’t want to get sued for copyright, and the tree in the story was much bigger than what Vlad had depicted, so I began to make some significant modifications to the original concept and this was the result:
