Notice to Casting Agencies:
We are still in the developmental stage of this project. At present, we are seeking voice talent for non-paid roles in a number of audio dramas related to SEED the series. These initial audio dramas will be used to build our audience and to make people more aware of our project by getting them excited about the stories and the characters. There is much potential for this audio drama to become very popular as the series progresses and the mini-episodes go viral through social media. So, while we cannot pay for talent at this time, we can and certainly will give them great exposure. Eventually, there will be a small download fee for people to listen to these audio dramas once we produce entire, full-length episodes from the short mini-episodes that will make up each act in the live- action screenplays. Once revenue begins to be generated from this project, payment may be offered to the voice talent, depending on the budget and amount of funds acquired/required as the project moves forward.
Although we are primarily seeking voice talent at this time, we will also be considering these actors for roles in the live-action series, should they fit the “look” of the character. It’s always good to put a face to the voice and if the talent fits the character description, so much the better. This will not be a primary factor in our consideration, but it can certainly increase the chances of an actor being selected for the part. In the character breakdowns below, you will see pictures of various Hollywood actors who are not attached to this project, but who fit the “look” of the characters we are searching for.
By entering your submissions, you understand that this does not guarantee they will get the part. It only makes them eligible for consideration. You understand that your submissions may be seen/heard by anyone viewing this website as well as other casting agents, directors and producers. You release to Rob Skiba, King’s Gate Media, LLC and its associated producers/agents/directors the right to use the headshots and voice clips of any applicant who comes to us in any way we deem necessary for the promotion and development of SEED the series. You understand that, at this time, no warrantees, guarantees, and/or promises of any kind are being made by anyone associated with this project.
Once again, we do not yet have the funds to pay for any involvement you may contribute. However, after these projects become fully funded, new contracts may be drawn up for anyone we wish to hire on a full or part-time basis. We thank you for any involvement you wish to have in SEED the series.
Notice to Actors/Voice Talent:
This casting call is for non-paid roles only. While we will not be paying for your talent, we will be giving you a lot of exposure. Your face and name will be posted to this site and you will be given credit on every episode your voice is used. Our plan is to push these radio dramas out to the masses through social media, YouTube, blogtalkradio, iTunes, amazon and there is potential for much more once the project begins to move forward. This is definitely a resume’ building opportunity for you and a chance to get involved with an exciting project!
In an effort to speed up the process of auditions, please download, print and memorize the lines (as best you can) prior to coming in for your appointment. NOTE: None of the actors depicted below have been attached to this project. They are merely presented here to show the “type” of person we are seeking for each role.
Handsome, well-built, athletic, strong, almost iconic, square-jawed warrior. A natural at nearly everything he puts his mind to. As a military leader, he’s the kind of guy you’d willingly follow into the depths of hell. Serious, structured and very focused when he needs to be, but loose enough to appreciate and enjoy the finer things of life, which makes him both respected and approachable.
When the Argartha Mission to look for “weapons of mass destruction” in Iraq (circa 2002) turns up something far more dangerous, Zak’s whole life changes. After a terrifying encounter with the Fallen Angel Azazel, Zak barely escapes with his life. Emerging from the cave of Dudael, a badly wounded Zak is met by The Bedouin who heals his severed arm, but then transports him out of space and time. Zak returns seven years later only to find himself in an Arizona desert, totally confused and disconnected from all he knew and loved. His quest to find answers begins here.
The perfect compliment to Zak: Attractive, fit, strong-willed, bright blue eyed, fiery redhead. She’s a bit on the A.D.D. side, but very good at her job. Although a bit jaded, she’s witty, adventurous and the kind of woman who knows what she wants and how to get it.
Jessica is the daughter of Dr. Norman Caine, but she does not get along with him at all. There’s a lot of bad blood between them – much of it having to do with the mysterious death of her mother and the strange illness of her brother Seth. She was engaged to Zak. After “losing” him in 2003, she hasn’t been very good at maintaining romantic relationships and has therefore become a workaholic. She is feisty, impulsive and not much of a rule follower. She works as a reporter for a major metropolitan newspaper (where she has a flirty relationship with Sam), but if it weren’t for her exceptional skill at getting what she wants, she probably would have been fired long ago.

Sam Hernandez:
A handsome Cuban latino who is a cross between charming and annoying depending on who you ask. He is a very happy-go-lucky kind of guy who really enjoys his job as a news photographer. His family sacrificed much for him to be in America and he worked hard to get where he is at. As a result, unlike Jessica, he’s much more of a rule-following, Boy Scout, never wanting to lose what he’s worked hard to gain. Thus, spending time with her often results in getting him into trouble.
Strong, stoic, highly disciplined with singular focus; the kind of no-nonsense, highly intelligent leader who makes things happen and doesn’t have time/patience for incompetence.
A retired colonel of the U.S. Army, he now lives in Tombstone, Arizona near the location of his last military post at Ft. Huachuca. While stationed there, he worked on Project Blue Beam until he came to fully understand what that project was designed to do. It was then that he chose (or was forced) to retire. He is Zak and Jake Randall’s father. After “losing” Zak in 2003, his wife Candice left him too. His remaining years have been spent in isolation; his only solace found in the restoration of an old 70’s era muscle car.
60’s. Pure military. Commanding, powerful voice, the kind you’d never want to hear raised if you’d done something wrong. Extremely intelligent and cunning, the type you could never beat in a game of Chess (or Poker for that matter). There’s something dark and mysterious in his eyes, as if there’s always something only he knows and he’ll only tell you if you need to know.
He is a highly decorated officer in the U.S. Army. But with his rise to power came privilege and access to Top Secret information. Information that as retired Colonel, Grant Randall put it, caused him to be “obsessed with antiquity. Chasing myths and legends on the government’s dime.” There are many ancient prizes that motivate him. But one mystery in particular drives him like no other… how to “bind the sweet influences of the Pleiades and loose the bands of Orion.” For with this secret, unimaginable power can be harnessed and unleashed.

Lt. Colonel Reginald “Reggie” Knight:
Lt. Col. Knight is Zak’s best friend and “wing man.” Very skilled in the martial arts, and exceptional at everything he puts his mind to, but he’s a wounded warrior (mentally and physically). With his current war-induced handicaps, he lives in constant pain and frustration, remembering the glory of yesteryear.
He was with Cpt. Zak Randall on the failed 2002 Iraqi Argartha Mission to look for “weapons of mass destruction” when something extraordinary happened. But he was knocked unconscious by The Bedouin and never saw the cause of it all. At the time, he was a Lieutenant under Zak’s command. Today he is a Lt. Colonel still serving in the U.S. Army and stationed at the Pentagon. For the last seven years, he has struggled with radiation poisoning and a gnawing desire to learn the truth about what happened to him and his fellow comrades out there in the desert. When he discovers Zak is still alive, he sets out to find him.
60’s. A very eccentric man, quite obsessed with the paranormal. He has a similar look and personality to Richard C. Hoagland, except that he is balding on top, with longer hair, pulled back into a ponytail and a much fuller/longer beard.
He’s Jessica’s father but there’s bad blood between them. Once a Pentecostal preacher, he now spends all of his time researching and educating people about the Nephilim – a being that is a hybrid between Fallen Angels and humans.
Zak’s younger/older brother never measured up to dad’s expectations. He always seemed to be in Zak’s shadow. Left the military after only 4 years to raise a family and live the quite life.
Late 60’s. An aged but very powerful, bearded man of wisdom and stature. This is a recurring character whose origins and background are a mystery. He will play an increasingly larger part as the series progresses.
60’s. Retired Marine turned bowling ally owner, he is the nicest guy you’d ever meet… but don’t make him angry.
He is the first to help Zak after his return in the desert of Arizona. While he seems to be a rather simple man, he is much more than he appears.

Jonnathan Hicks:
Husband of Bessie Hicks. Together, the two own a small farm about an hour north of Dallas, off of highway 77. His wife’s desire to just live a quite life out in the country is disrupted by the appearance of a very large Crop Circle Pictogram that mysteriously showed up in their wheat field on the morning of July 10, 2010. After receiving healing of his arthritis as a result of standing in the formation, Jonathan realizes all of their financial problems may be over. Against the wishes of both his wife as well as the U.S. government, Jonathan turns this “miracle field” into a very lucrative affair.

Bessie Hicks:

Late 40’s. An extremely intelligent man, especially skilled in the nero-sciences and inner workings of the brain. As a wealthy inventor and innovator of new technology, he also enjoys a lavish entrepreneurial lifestyle. An extremely charming and surprisingly humble man, he naturally attracts the attention of all who come around him… all that is except for Jessica Caine – who for reasons as yet unknown, definitely does not like him. This will cause a lot of tension in the near future as he may be the one man who can help her brother Seth to return back to normal.
Early 30s. The vivacious, very seductive mysterious, and dangerously beautiful Pleiadian. In 1975, she allegedly appeared to“Billy” Edward Albert Meier, claiming to be from the Plejares star system which is somewhere beyond the Pleiades. She appears to Zak in episode 2 of SEED (part 2 of “The Walk Among Us“). So far, her mission and motives remain a mystery. But while she claims to be from a distant star system, ancient Hebrew writings tell of a much more sinister origin. Is she really what she appears to be?
Early 30s. An exotic, asian beauty, she is an expert in various martial arts. But beyond her skills as a fighter, she also has the unusual ability to become invisible. She acquired the technology and the ability to use it as a student mentored by The Bedouin – who apparently has an almost supernatural patience to deal with her impetuous and sometimes rebellious nature. She thinks she has completed all of her lessons, but it is obvious she still has much more to learn.
Seth suffers from a very strange disorder that only allows him to communicate through a strange and extremely elaborate form of glossalalia. Something happened to Seth shortly after the death of his mother in 1991, which caused this condition that has increasingly become worse over time. For the last five years he has been institutionalized in the Saint Dymphna Mental Health Facility. Finally, with the help of Dr. Ibrahim Sadozai, a cure may be in sight – a cure that may prove to be the key to the survival of many in the End of Days.
Mid-50s. Creepy and highly intelligent. A descended product of Operation Paperclip, Dr. Traub has deep ties to the Nazis and to paranormal, occult activity. Sometime in the 1980’s, Otto was contracted by elements within the Shadow Government to continue the kind of research that his father used to do at Plum Island. Although he is skilled in a wide range of scientific disciplines, his specialty involves the use of insects and nano-technology for military applications. He is now the head of the underground research and development facility known as the Strategic Global Science Initiative, located somewhere beneath the desert sands of Arizona.
Mid-20s. Emmanuel is a young man surrounded in mystery. His origins will be revealed later in the season. Like The Bedouin, he is quite powerful – and wise beyond his years. Even The Pleiadian seems to cater to him.
When he meets with General Karydis in a secret underground laboratory in Dulce, New Mexico we learn a little bit about his wisdom and power. While standing over the body of a giant humanoid creature, the general directs his attention to a chart on the wall, which displays the Pleiades star cluster and asks him, “Are you able to bind their influence?” The boy confidently answers, “I am.” then tosses up a Klerksdorp Sphere and asks, “But will you be ready when Iapetus turns?”
Mid-20s. The Agartha Team demolitions expert. Very much a total New York attitude, tough, wise-guy.

Early 30’s. Very muscular, deep voice, friendly but powerful and very accurate with a S.A.W. in the heat of a fire-fight. He’s the Agartha Teams Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge (NCOIC), and the guy you definitely want covering your back in any combat scenario.
40’s. With piercing blue eyes and long blonde hair, he is tall, muscular and handsome, but he is a fallen angel… and this is not his normal appearance.

Bit Part – Most likely a C.G. character.
Lizard-like and hideoussss fallen angel. Speaks with a deep, raspy voice and sssssssserpent-like accsssentssss on the letter/sssssound “s”.
